J The cinema houses in Tolrio have J agreed to discontinue showing Ameri- I can films after July 1. U.S. REPLY TO PROTEST. (Received This Day, 1.15 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 9. The Government's reply to Japan's formal protest against exclusion will probably be handed to Mr Hanihara on Tuesday. It is understood the ernment will definitely and clearly state that there has been no violation of. existing Treaty obligations. The re- 1 ply will be dignified and friendly but firm.
