Ismet Pasha was the first to sign, Sir Horace Rumbold (Britain) was next, followed wy the representatives of the other Powers. When the President of the Swiss Confederation, who was much moved, had closed his address, all the delegates rose and shook hands. This was the final scene in the long drawn-out Conference.
