NO LUCE IN AFRICA. PIETERMARITZBURG, ’June 19. In connection with the recent Hickson Christian healing mission nn bouth Africa it was reported at the last monthly meeting of the Witwatersrand branch" of the'British Medical Association that there had been no improvement in any of the oases 'that Mr Hickson had visited in the burg Hospital, and that there was no known cases of improvement m organic diseases; in fart, beyond improvement in some cases of neurosis, nothing was noted of benefit to the cases visited. The matter value up for discussion as a result of a letter received liy Dr. Charles Porter from a New Zealand practitioner, wise asked what attitude the South African medical profession had taken as regards the recent Hickman Mission. , , \fter some discussion it was -agreed Wthe Rand British Medical Association branch that it adopt a neutral attitude.
