UNIVERSITY TOURNEY. Afc the annual University Boxing Tournament held at Dunedin on Saturday, a great croavd witnessed the finals. The results of these were:— Bantam —J. Patterson, Otago (Bst 31b) beat A. Vance, Victoria (7sf 131 b) on points in two rounds. Feather-weight—R. Young, Victoria (Bst 121 b) beat Jeune, Canterbury (Bst 101 b) on points in three rounds. Light-weight—S. Farquharson, Canterbury (9st 101 b) beat L. Cotter, Otago (9st 81b), with a knock-out in the second round. Welter-weight —B. Cunningham, Victoria (lOst 21b) beat J. Harding, Otago (10st 31b), on points after' the latter had taken a count for nine m the second round. Middle-weight—Lamb, Otago (list), beat Riddell, Canterbury (list lib) m three rounds on points. Heavy-weight —S. Craven, Canterbury (12st 21b) beat McCrae, Victoria (12st 21b) with a knock-out in the third round, after the latter had taken a count for nine.
