BRIDE OF A DAY.
A beautiful Venetian girl of good family, Francesea Ritti, who was persuaded to marry a wealthy suitor whom she disliked, -has been found dead m her bedroom after being married a day. It appears that she attempted to commit suicide on the eve of her marriage by taking poison, hut wasi dis- ; covered by her brother when she was t raising the poison bottle to her lips, . and persuaded to go through with the i marriage ceremony, r Returning to her new home after I the wedding, she said : "I want to J die; I have made a dreadful mistake." Afterwards she was found lying on the floor of her room > with a letter to her husband clutched m her hand.
