HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
Colourful and sympathetic, and at the same time thoroughly convincing, is Elaine Hammerstein's interpretation of the arduous stellar role m her latest Selznick production, " Pleasure Seekers," at His Majesty's Theatre. The young bride's strategy m surmounting the prejudices of her young husband's father against herself and womankind is at once charming and amusing; m direct contrast is the star's work m the more highly dramatic moments, such as the big scene where she visits her rival's home and persuades her husband to return to her and give up the wandering habit, for m this she rises to heights of intensity that none of her previous productions have contained. Elaine Hammerstein has qualified, by hard work and good, for the title of star, and no picture emphasises this more than the present one.
