HUNGER-STRIKERS RELEASED.
LONDON, April 27. Five more Irish hunger-strikers at Wormwood Scrubbs have been released.
A Sinn Fein demonstration at Glasgow, in sympathy with the hungerstrikers ended in a collision with the police, who arrested the leader. An attempt by the crowd to effect a rescue led tlie police to make a baton charge, in which several were injured. The demonstrators were dispersed. At Liverpool a deputation of Irishmen to the Lord -Mayor threatened that Irishmen would hold up Liverpool industries unless the Sinn Feiners were released from Wormwood Scruhhs prison within forty-eight hours. Similar threats have been made at other ports.
