I H»S MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
At His' Majesty's Theatre to-night, the star picture, "A Burglar for a Night," lifts the veil on capitalistic raids on American railroads, introduces a series of thrilling situations, and sees heart trump the game. J. Warren Kerrigan (presented by Paralta Plays) appears as Kirk Marden, son of a railroad president, who is being raided by rival papitalistis seeking to gain control of the road. As the old man is ill, the son, who has just returned from China in company with a man who helped him in a row, wades into the fight, and in order to outmanoeuvre tho onemy turns burglar for the night, cracks a safe, and is surprised by a pretty girl who afterwards marries him under peculiar circumstances. The safe-cracking job is one of the strongest hits of the pla3 r, and is said to be exceedingly well done. The second chapter of the exciting serial, "The Man of Might," will also be screened and is said to include some hair-raising incidents, including a ding-dong fight.
