LONDON, "April 27. Newspapers strongly support Sir T. Mackenzie's action _ in regard to a reduction in the price of meat, and also a free market for butter along the lines indicated in the recent cable message. ' The "Daily lelegraph" says that the Government has made a start, even if small, in the matter of preference, and it predicts that no future Chancellor will have the courage to repudiate the policy,u nevertheless Sir T. Mackenzie has renderd a public service by drawing attention to specific causes of'irritation. Public opinion in England will support his claim that the same justice should be meted out to the of the Dominions as to the people here.
