The object of conferring is to consider labour legislation with special reference to women steel,/workers;. Tho strike is collapsing .and. men are returning to work in numbers. Mr Fitzpatrick, chairman of the National Committee, admitted, that the men had been starved into submission, but contended that never again,lowing to the publicity the Steel Trust's methods have received, would the Trust be able to enslave workers as in the past.. On the next occasion the workors would be able to show still greater power, having discovered their ability to tie up the whole industry.
