CHRISTCHURCH August.3o. The ( secretary of the New Zealand Coalmine Owners' Association sent a telegram to Air Arbuckle, Aliners' Federation, regarding the report that the men had decided to adopt a go-slow policy. The Owners' Association states that it will treat such tactics by the miners as illegal, and a serious injury to the community, and may be compelled to take such action as might result in tho dismissal of the workers
who refuse, or fail to maintain a normal output. It suggests the Federation should take steps to have the dispute dealt with on constitutional lines- by reference to the Conciliation Commissioners. GREYAIOUTH, August 30. The. Blackball, Paparoa and State niiuers decided, as a result of a stopwork meeting, to inaugurate a go-slow policy.
