LONDON, rJuly 10. Mr R. Smillie, the miners' leader, regards the 6s per ton increase in the price of coal as a bombshell. The extra cost should have been met by the previous half-crown increase. The miners will demand an. inquiry. Coal owners declare that they will not receive any part of tho increase. Their profit remains fixed at fourtecn,XK'iiee per ton.
