CLEARING SALE.

Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. conducted a clearing sale at Mayfield on Monday on belialf of Mi- J. Eayrie. The sale -was largely attended, Mr Pa.yne having been an'old and popular member of the district. Cattle.—Cow £9, fat steer £18, heifer £9 15s, do £5, springing cow £13 10s Implements.—Ford car £125, roller £13, grubber £7 15s, harrows £10, binder £10, drill £6, gig £13 10s.
