Japanese' and .Chinese representatives have issued a statement to the 3?ress agreeing that, the League of Nations will, settle Oriental problems, felt taking contrary views regardizig ijßte individual aspirations of their resjaective countries. The Chinese are reasserting their claims to Kiaochow »ad.-denouncing Japan's twenty-one deniands on China- They openly charge Jfgpan with preventing China from joining the war in 1914 and 191-5.
