FISK JUBILEE SINGERS.
That unique company of entertainers' which took New Zealand by .storm, some years ago, the Fisk Jubilee Singers, are paying a visit to Ashburtou for a season of two nights only, commencing at the Theatre Royal on Thursday evening next. The enterprise is under the direction of Messrs C. A. White and Marshall Palmer, and the personnel of the pcrform.-ers is well up to, if not beyond, the standard of those who previously attained such a measure of popularity. The programme consists of characteristic; Jubilee- choruses, plantation melodies, quartettes, ragtime ditties, glees, solos, coon songs, and all that goes to make the Fisk entertainment so uncommonly attractive. The company is just concluding a wonderfully successful tour of the Otago and Southland districts. The box plan is at Tho Rristol.
