LISMORE

The Lismore School concert this year took the form of a little operetta, performed by "the children on J'riday evening, and'entitled "The Disagree-, able Princess." All the scholars, 43 in number, took part, 'assisted by one or two ex-pupils, but all under 16 years of age. The prpgramme was gone through without a hitch,', and reflects much credit on the ' teacher, Miss Foster. The choruses, Which were I sung in excellent time and tune, went with noticeable vim and ■ expression. The parts were taken by the following i young people: —Princess • Marigold; : Phyllis Taylor; Prince Love-all, JT. Lilley ; King, J. MeLaucliJWn,: Queen, y.
