DUN'KDIX, Oct-oler 3. At Bumside to-day ltiS i'aL cattle were penned. The quality was very .good and the demand keen. Pi-ices advanced 15s per bead. A Fair number., were purchased by northern butchers. Best bullocks made £21 10s to £24, extra £27 12s 6d, medium £18 10s to £19 10s, light and unfinished £10 to £17 IO.Sj best cows and heifers £16 to £18, medium £13 10s to .CIS, light £11 10s to £12 10s.: Sheep.—2soo were penned. The quality was very good. At the commencement la-st week's prices were barely maintained, but as the sale pro-gressed-competition became keener and late values ruled. Best wethei-s made. 46s to 48s, extra 55s 9d, medium to good 40s to 445, light .'sßs 6d to 425, prime ewos 44s to 40s, extra 50s 3d, medium 38s to 40=;. Lambs.— 2l were penned, and realised up to 345.
