EXPORT OF BUTTER.
LIMITATIONS OF SHIPPING SPACE,
WELLINGTON, Sept. 26. The Prime Minister has been informed by the Chairman of the Overseas Shipping Committee - (New Zealand) that instructions have been received by cable from the London Tonnage Committee that space is not to be allotted for any-more butter from Ktew Zealand, unless reference is made to the London Committee.
Mr Massey is still awaiting a reply from the Imperial authorities to his numerous representations as to the intention of the British Government regarding New Zealand butter, and he cabled to the ( High Commissioner again on Tuesday oil the subject.
