Acoording to an Athens . message, Lord Ktichener, conversing with the members of the Groek Cabinet, stated that at the declaration of war the Entente; was not prepared, but Britain would have 4,000,000 armed by Mar oh and would be able to ami and supply 6,000,000 Russians. He would be a very simple-minded person who would imagine that there could be any end to the war except Germany's complete defeat.
