LONDON, Nov: 22.

Saisi, on the Rhodesian-German border, was heroically defended by an Anglo-Belgian force of 300 aaginst a mixed German force of 1500 in a 10----days' siege. Despite their remoteness the Germans were wonderfully equipped, haying 18 cannon, rockets, starshells, and heliographs,-: showing that there had been- pre-war preparations. The Germans kept up a tempestuous fire and captured a British relief, convoy and frequently demanded the surrender of the post, but "were fought off and retired, leaving 30 German dead and rows .of native corpses.. ■
