MEETING OF HINDS BRANCH SOCIETY. • . (From Our Own Correspondent.) At the fortnightly meeting of the Hinds branch of the lied Cross Society there was a large attendance. Mr J. Farrell. occupied the chair. Several new members were admitted. Mr J. McDowell, attended.. - and presented the bala/uee-sheet for the concert held on August 29y which showed a credit balance of. £275.9s 7d to be paid into the funds. "A••Marty; vote of thanks to Mr McDowell for his trouble in the matter was carried by acclamation.
