HAWKE'S BAY. (Per Press Association). HASTINGS, October 20. The weather was c:oid and gusty this morning for the first day of' the Hawko's Bay show, but was warmer later. Tho attendance wa?, only fair. Kor to-morrow, people's day, tho weather promises well and a good attendance is expected. The following championships wore awarded to-day:— English Leicester ram, under 30 months-—Douglas McLean. Ram 30 months and upwards—J. I). Ormond. Romney Marsh ewe, under 30 months with lamb—Joseph Coropo. Ewe 30 ■months and upwards, with lamb—J. E. , Allen. Southdown ram, 30 jnonths and up-wards-—J. Knight.
