CLEARING SALE.
The National -Mortgage and Agency Company conducted a successful clearing sale at Chertsey yesterday on behalf of Mr George Dixon. There v was a good attendance, and the sale * was a satisfactory one; Sales were: J— Implements.—Seed-cleaner £2 iOs, dray and frame £16 10s, gig £7, potato digger. £4 ss, potato planter £3 17s 6d, double-furrow ploughs £6 lOs and £10, grubber £16, rotary plough £6, discs £11, drill £11. Cattle.—Heifers (in calf) £3, £3 10r, £5 16sj and £4, 6 head young cattle *t £1 Is. , Sheep.—2o3 wether hoggets at I7a 4d,- 46 old.ewfß and lambs (all counted), at 7b 2d, 100 «wes and. lambs (all ' "counted) .at 125., , l. - ; Horses.-^-Geldinpr (6yrs)' £37, do,': <Byrs) £30 10s, do. (syre) £29 10s, mare (7yrs) £20, gelding (aged) £11. do. (aged) £5 10a, hack gelding £8 10s, filly (3yrs, unbroken) £22. A very large quantity' of furniture and sundries sold at good prices.
