ALLIES RE-OPEN A "BIG PUSH." "ALL ATTACKS FAIL." (Received October 15, 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, October M. An official wireless message from Berlin suggests that the British have hure with the most extreme bitterness^
're-opened a "big push." s German Headquarters report that while British monitors were shelling Westonde, artillery was shelling our positions north of Ypres. The English commenced, an attack bclund smoke and gas clouds on almost the whole of the front between Ypros and Loos. The attack completely failed. The smoke! clouds, in several places, floated to the enemy's'trenches.
Only north-east and east of Verinelles the English obtained a footing^ at some points in our first line, from which they have since been driven out. Five strong enemy attacks without smoke clouds against positions west of Hulloch were repulsed with severe enemy losses.
The French,continue attacks at TaFive attacks south and two north of the Tahure-Souain Road broke down, with severe losses.
