LONDON, October 14. The military correspondent of the ''Times" says our manifest duty is to maintain our strength in France and i Flanders, which is our principal theatre. While there is good N reason for landing at Salonika all the troops we can spare, it must be with the provision that it does not 1 weaken our strength in the West. If Greece and Roumania do not intervene to counter-* balance Bulgaria and Turkey, the chances of success are so slight that the adventure is not promising.
