ASHBURTON CLUB
The Ashburton Miniature Rifle Club finished the fourth competition of the season last evening. The following aro the highest scores:— . Score. Hep. Tl. 'A. E. Clarke 70 scr 70 F. Clark 69 2 70 ;R. Shearman 68 2 70 J. O'Grady 67 5 70 C. Stonier 65 5 70 W. Tucker 89 7 70 B. Baker 6-4 7 70 J. E. Allen 63 7 70 The last seven fire off for second and third places.
Firing in a practice at the Ashburton miniature rifle range last week, Miss J. Burrows scored a possible. This is claimed to be the first which has been scored by a lady in AshburtOQ.
