HIGH SCHOOL MATCH
Ashburton (9) v. Christchurch (6).
The second team of the Christchurch Boys' High School played a match with the local High School team on the Domain ypstcrday. After a very fast and interesting game, the visitors were defeated by nine points to six. For the Ash burton School, Hood scored and kicked a penalty goal, and King scored a try. Wright and Woods scored for the Christchurch High School. Mr F. B. Robilliard refereed.
The following will represent the Rakaia Football Club in the seven-a-side tourney at Ashburton :—^P. Gordon, J. Cromie (captain), S. Laraman, A. Shannon, F. Kennedy, A. C. Mead, and G. Cromie.
