SUPPLY OF SANDBAGS.
JUTE INTERESTS NOT AFFECTED, (Received August 6, 9.5 a.m.) CALCUTTA, August 5. Mr Clark, a member of the Committee of Commerce on the Viceroy's Council, discussed with leading jute merchants the question of tho supply of sandbags. It is believed that the Allies' wants will be met without special Government measures or without affecting outside interests dependent on the jute trade.
