Hughes, referring to the motal industries, said the only way to deal with the situation was to destroy all German influence wherever it existed. Referring to the cable with regard to the action.of the Australasian section of the London Chamber of Commerce relative to trading with enemy countries after the war, Mr Hughes said they were not averse to patriotism if it means no loss.
