The following is; a copy of a letter, handed to Sir Joseph Ward this after-' noon from the Parliamentary Labour Party:— - * " At a meeting of the Parliamentary Labour Party this >■ afternoon, those present being Messrs A. ; H. Hindmarsh (chairman)," W. A. Veitch, J. McCombs, : P. C. Webb, and A. Walker, the following decisions were arrived at unanimously:— .
I (1) That the extent to which the j Labour Party is prepared, to support !or oppose the proposed National Government will depend upoL the measures brought forward by such Government, and its administration. (2) That it is not the Labour Party's wish that any one of its number be offered a portfolio in the proposed National Government. (Sismed), A. H. Hindmarsh, Chairman."
