V.R.C. POLICY. MELBOURNE, August 4. ; At the annual meeting of the Victorian Racing Club the chairman stated that the policy would be to keep expenses down to a minimum It was proposed to invest as much of the club's funds as the committee thought wise in the Federal War Loan, believing that: this was .a national patriotic duty. Not--withstanding the large decrease in the profits Of the last jCup njeeting, i{ the year's surplus was' £12,000. Already £14,500 had beeir devoted to war fund^s, and it had been decided to give the whole of the annual profits to patriotic purposes. .
