TIMARU GUN CLUB.
TIMARU, August 3. The Timaru Gun Club to-day opened its annual live bird pigeon champion;ship. A £100 handicap and sweepstake were shot to-day, and the championship will be fired for to-morrow. Forty competitors are attending irom all parts of the Dominion. In the handicap Whittle (Stratford), Hughes (Auckland), Graham and Parsons (Christchiirch), Gaulter and Fleming (Hawke's Bay), tied with 13, the possible.
