MOUNT SOMERS ROAD BOARD.

The Mount Somers Road Board met on Monday. Present: Messrs W. R, Turton (chairman), W. Lambie, W. P. Smith, J. W. Cornyns, and J. T. Hutt. Tho members' reports were received and- approved, and several small repairs' were authorised. It was decided to, form about*ls chains of the Village Settlement Road, Alford Forest. It was reported that the repairs to I the Pound at Springburn were being proceeded with, and would soon be completed. The clerk was instructed to notify several ratepayers to clear gorse from the road on their frontages. - The annual balance-sheet was returned from the Auditor-General, certified correct. Accounts amounting to £54 2s 4d were passed for payment, and the meet-, ing adjourned. j
