CIVIL LIFE AS USUAL. TERRIFIC BATTLES NEAR IVANGOROD. (Received August 4, 2.30 p.m.) PETROGRAD, August 3. Civil life in Warsaw continues. People still frequent the cafes and j parks. The hotels are empty,, all "visitors having departed to their homes. The narrowing process on the Russian Polish front continues according to plan, with the utmost success. necting the Warsaw-Petrograd railway with Ostrolinka. The bloodiest battles were fought on Friday and Saturday,' 20 miles distant from Ivangorod. - ■
