A BOOKMAKER FINED.
D.UNEDIN, August 4. In -ifche Police Court this morning, Mr Widdowson, S.M., gave his decision in the case against Frederick Matthews, who was charged that, being a bookmaker, he did make a bet on premises, viz., the Grand Hotel. The Magistrate convicted defendant and fined him £20.
