ENEMY ADVANCES.
LONDON, July 31
A German official communique says
" Our attack is progressing northwest of Lomnza and on the railway north of-Noworowo'and east of. Rozan.
"General yon -Woyrsch crossed to the right bank of the Vistula, and is advancing eastwards, despite a stubborn resistance. Russian f reinforcements counter-attacked unsuccessfully.
" The: enemy also ' resisted General yon Mackensen's pursuit on the lines Nova Aleksandrja and the heights of the Vistula north of Lublin, which we occupied yesterday. Tb the south of Cholm we are attacking, the enemy everywhere."
