PARIS, July 1. Ah official statement says: — "Our aeroplanes bombarded the Ypies-Roulers railway at Paschendaele, German bivouacs at Longseval, West Combles, defence works at Brimont, near Rheims, the military station of ChatoJ, Argonne, the Burthecourt statiun, in Lorrauuv, and an asphysi-
ating gas factory at Dornach, in Alsace. Squadrons bombarded the Freiburg station, and dropped AQ bombs on tho Char.ny utation. Forjy-iivo aeroplanes started to raid petrol factories at Pechelbronn, but owing to clouds and fogs only a portion reached their goal. They dropped 103 shells, and others at the Detwiller station, and the Phalsbourg air-sheds. . '"All the aeroplanes returned. "Enemy aviators dropped bombs on Nancy, doing insignificant damage. Our artillery hit one machine, which landed between the. French and. German lines. The ay hum's escaped, aiid tho machine was brira-;ht close to our trenches." PARIS, August 1. An oflienil statement says.:—"Spven French aeroplanes bombarded the station and factories at Freiburg. Motor trouble compelled one aeroplane to land in Gorman lines."
