AN M.P.'S ALLEGATIONS.

LONDON, July 30. In tho House of Commons Sir A. B. Markham referred to the case of a man named Reichwald, whom, ho said, had changed his name to Blacker. Ho was the son of Krupp's confidential representative, in London, yet Major Blacker had boon sent out to India four xnonths before tho war, and made assistant secretary to the Coinrnander-iu-Chief. He had access to confidential information. When the war broke out he was promoted to be Chief of the Intelligence Department of the Indian Corps sent to Franco.
The November '" Army List" gives the ;name of the Assistant Military Secretary to the; Commandcr-i.n-Cb.ief in India as Captain W. F. Reichwald, It.A., and the date of his appointment as March, 1914. According to tho May list ho had vacated the post and was serving somewhere on the Staff, still under the name of Reichwald. He was promoted Major in. October.
