A mob of( infuriated Haytians removed President Guillaume from tibe French Legation, where he took refuge, and shot him to death before the door.

M. Oscar, Governor of Port au Prince, executed 160 political prisoners, so the mob broke into his office, dragged him out. and shot him dead, leaving his body lying, in the dust.
