TURKS DEFEATED WITH HEAVY
LOSSES
(Received July 30, 2.20 p.m.) ' 'LONDON, July 29. As a r&sult of the action at Nasiriyeh, on the Euphrates, on July 24, the Turks retreated 25 miles.! ' The casualties were 2500, of whom 41 ofiieers and 690 were taken prisoners^ Our casualties were 564, including 13/ killed and missing.
