The attention of the military authorities has been called to inflammatory articles published in Henri Bouniassa's paper " Los Devoirs." Bourassa takes strong exception to tho attitudo of
firms which stimulated a movement inaugurated by the Stock Exchange for encouraging unmarried employees to enlist. He contends that it is akin to intimidation, a.nd that, if tolerated, conscription will virtually be in force in the city. - Recruits are offering as fast as they can be enrolled. A number of Austrians endeavoured to pass as naturalised Russians, and when the imposture was discovered they stampeded.
