TURKISH POSITIONS BOMBARDED
LONDON, July 27. Mitylene reports state that the Allies in the last few days have uninterruptedly bombarded tho Turkish positions in the interior of the Strait, endeavouring to destroy the enemy's batteries qri the Asiatic coast, which hinder the movement of the Allies in the region of Achi Baba.
