Mr Bryan, addressing the National Eoreign Trade Convention, warned American manufacturers that the Government cannot assume responsibility for Americans who engage ii enterprises beyond the United States boundaries. The United States would support citizens engaged legitimately in trade with foreign countries if injustice was done, but manufacturers must not expect interference by force or menace of force in other countries' .affairs; ..'
