THE THIEF'S INTENTIONS.
PARIS, December 16. Perugia's notebooks show that he contemplated selling the "Mona Lisa" to Mr Carnegie, Mr Rockfeller, or Mr Pierpont Morgan. He went to London to dispose of the picture and returned! in a fortnight, having failed. The Italian police have ascertained that he had an Italian accomplice.
