(Received December 16, 9.40 a.m.)
DURBAN, December 15,
A large meeting of Indians carried a resolution protesting against the constitution of the Commission .of Inquiry on Indian grievances, and urging the inclusion of Indian representatives. The chairman said he particularly objected to Mr Janies Wylie, on the ground that he was a member of the defence force, whose high-handed-ness was one of the chief causes of the disturbance, and he was antagonistic to the repeal of the poll-tax. The chairman added that Sir E. Eselen was biased on the question.
