BLENHEIM, November 26.

At the inquest at Havelock concerning the death of Benjamin Patrick McCauley, whose body was found in Pelorus Sound last Saturday, the following verdict was returned:- —' ' Deceased met his death by misadventure." The jury added a rider that the captain of the barqueiitme Senorita showed negligence in not investigating after having seen' deceased's launch run ashore at full speed and the engines continuing, to run for some time after.
