( WELLINGTON, -November '25. A series of attempts i have been made lately to killor,, maim , horses belonging to the Victoria" Laundry "'Company. On two occasions animals belonging to the Company have been driven over a ste«p bank with a drop of 25 feet, but in each case were ;' uninjured. Thi& having failed, yesterday a horse was badly wounded, a great gash 10 inches long and five inches deep being noticed in its abdomen. There are now only two Ford Touring -Cars available for immediate delivery. at the list price, £205 -each. Intending purchasers are invited to inspect those new models at their earliest convenience.
