SYDNEY, October 13. Tlie police have received a report of a- tragedy at Woolbrook, near -Armid;ile. A half-caste named Brown shot his mother-in-law dead, and on Constable Clark, who was sent to arrest him, approaching the house, Brown fired several harmless shots .at Clark, who replied, fatally wounding Brown. Brown, ,an ex-black tracker, was avmed with a rifle. Constable Clark, finding that his rifle was outranged, procured a rifle. The cause of the tragedy is unknown. y
