SOCIETY OF RAILWAY SERVANTS.
IK; \iJ- mlas (fe"cneral secretary) and Mr W. T. Wilson (president), of the New Zealand Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, who are on a jtour of the various branches of the | society throughout the Dominion, addressed a large gathering of railway--1 men in tho Victoria Hall last evening. The chair was taken by Mr S. Cassey. Both speakers spoke at considerable length and among other things placed before the audience a review of the work of the society during the last two years. At the conclusion of the addresses, questions were invited, which were answered .satisfactorily. air Mack and Mr Wilson left Ashburton by the first express this morning for Timaru. \
