THE CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. WELLINGTON, April 9. Hilliker (Dunedin)' is going strong for the draughts championship, greatly increasing his chances by getting a game and a half off Calderwood (Huntly), who, until this morning, had won every game. The eleventh round of the draughts tourney was finished to-night. Hilliker still holds leading place. It is expected that the championship will be decided by Thursday night.
